SNC Lavelin has a pretty poor reputation wherever they go. They have a long history of "buying governments". They would be poster boys for "Crony Capitalism".
On April 23rd, Alberta is set to elect a new Wildrose government. It is expected there will be a real investigation into the power line scandals, and just who sold us out! I know for a fact Wildrose candidate Joe Anglin will be pushing for one!
In addition there should be an investigation into the Northwest Upgrader and the Enhance Energy C02 pipeline. This is another very shadowy deal that needs to be investigated.

I have a nephew who works for a company wholly owned by SNC Lavelin. They are very secretive and don't talk much about their activities. Many contracts with AB government departments but confidential shit so we as Helbertans never get to know about them or if they are good deals or not.

They do make money though and lots of it.

How can you call SMD a hate blog? Very
libertarian but I don't recall much name calling by
the posters. There is a bit of name calling by
certain commentators that disagree with the
articles posted but the regular posters are always
witty and usually very articulate. Kind of like this
forum.

Besides what's that old cliche? "you can tell how
intelligent a person is by how much they agree
